Vikram Phadnis signs Tabu for his directorial debut

Leading costume designer Vikram Phadnis, who has designed the costumes of Salaam-E-Ishq and Namastey London had been harbouring dreams of directing a movie. He had planned to make his directorial debut with Madhuri Dixit as the leading lady. However, things didn't click and now Vikram has selected Tabu for his movie.
He says that Tabu has been a good friend since a very long time and in fact, she was the one who would always suggest that he should direct a film. She is surely the right choice, as the film is heroine centric and has an emotional subject. Tabu is sure to do more than full justice to the movie.
Tabu had consented to the movie within just ten seconds of script narration.
