Sushmita Sen takes a breather

BollywoodActress Sushmita Sen is taking a break. She has not signed any more films after Holi, Karma and Confessions. She is awaiting the release of Zindaggi Rocks. "I am not part of any rat race….not any more after so many years" she says.

"As of now, Holi, Karma and Confession is my last film. After working for so many years, I can afford to take time off. Renee is growing up and I need to pay attention to what she is doing. I want to help her with her home-work. This is the time when she needs me to be around. Besides, I'd rather spend time with Renee than do films which are not worth my while," says Sushmita.

The actress does feel that she has not yet got a role which will be considered a legendary film of her career. She is still waiting for that one dream role. She did get to spend some time with her daughter while she was recovering from an accident on the sets of Zindaggi Rocks. Narrating her three-week-convalescence experience she says, "Oh! I had a sexy-looking orthopaedic bed. The whole idea was to sleep and watch all the films which I have missed so far. But then I realised that to watch a film I need to sit up, which I couldn't do for too long at a stretch. So, the other option was writing. I have a beautiful writing board that can be used even if you're on bed. I also listened to a lot of music and did meditation," she says.

About her role in the movie Zindaggi Rocks, she says "The character has some resemblance to me because Tanuja has interacted with me and seen me from close. She wanted to make the character Kria very vivacious and larger than life." She is quick to add "Only, Kria is larger than life, not me."
