Shahid Kapur signs two-film deal with UTV

BollywoodUTV has signed the young and talented Shahid Kapur for their forthcoming projects. Shahid Kapur has signed a two-film deal with the production company. The amount is rumoured to be around 5.5 crores.

The two films will be made over a period of two years. Shahid has earlier worked with UTV in Chup Chuk Ke. Shahid's movie is slated to go on the floors by December. Ken Ghosh will be directing one of the films.

Ram Mirchandani, Vice President UTV Motion Pictures says, "We shared a great working relationship with Shahid during the making of Chup Chup Ke. We are in the process of signing other good actors so that we can plan scripts according to their strengths."

Meanwhile Shahid confirms the news and mentions that UTV has made some great films in recent times and he is looking forward to work with them.
