Shah Rukh Khan extends Om Shanti Om release date

Shahrukh Khan has agreed to extend the release date of his movie Om Shanti Om on the request of good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Sanjay’s movie ‘Saawariya’ is slated for release in the Diwali week and King Khan was also considering the same for his release.

Farah Khan also has decided to let Shahrukh decide on the final release date. But it will see a release between Id and Diwali, she confirmed.

Both the movies are much awaited movies as both have great directors behind them. Om Shanti Om is about a Bollywood star of the 70s, where Shahrukh Khan plays a struggling actor. Saawariya is an eagerly awaited release, for the reason that it is the debut vehicle of two star children - Anil Kapoor’s daughter, Sonam and Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s son, Ranbir.

Bollywood does have its share of good and strong friendships inspite of all the bad vibes and rivalry stories !

    Its going to be good entertainment in this festival season. Both Movies have good directors but I will put Om Shanti Om ahead of SAAWAARIYAN as people has to decide the class of the debut actors and Farah-Shahrukh is already a hit pair to bang on.

    I love Shahrukh Specially, not only as a good actor but the person he is in his real life…….very much dedicated to his family

    both movies will be GREAT- however i think king khan should get off his throne and let someone else to sit on it.

    he did not suit with the new actress deepika
    it looks very funny.

    King Khan’s film is always a bonanza for our family.Shahrukh’s film comes once or twice in entire year and no doubt proves to be super hit.
