Shah Rukh Khan burns his fingers smoking in public

Obscure Panaji based National Organization for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) is savoring yet another moment of fame this time having served a legal notice on Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan for smoking in public. NOTE issued the notice to Shah Rukh for smoking during the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit earlier this month and at the recent Twenty20 match in Mumbai.
The Anti-Tobacco Legislation, 2003 prohibits smoking in public. Anyone found violating the profound legislation can be fined Rs 200. Now that should rattle Shah Rukh Khan!
Shah Rukh has been given 15 days' time to reply.
NOTE's past dubious claim to fame was an apology they extracted from actor Amitabh Bachchan in January 2006, after they served the actor with a similar notice because billboards and posters of a still from the film Family showed him smoking. ….read more
