Salman Khan will play Tarzan in Sohail Khan’s film

Salman Khan will embark on a series of jungle adventures in his next. Brother Sohail Khan will present Sallu as Tarzan in his forthcoming film. Our source reveals, "Salman enjoyed reading Tarzan comic books as a child. A few years back, he and Sohail hit upon the idea of making Tarzan. Salman Khan readily agreed to portray the immortal character that has enthralled children and adults for years."
Our khabru says that Salman was keen to play Tarzan's character also because he wanted to do a film that would cater to children. "Salman Khan feels that he has a huge fan following amongst children. He has always wanted to make a film that they would enjoy watching in the theatre," he adds.
When contacted, Sohail Khan confirms that plans to make Tarzan under Sohail Productions are in full swing. Sohail says, "I had written the script of Tarzan about four years ago. Salman and I wanted to go ahead with the project then. But we could not because Salman Khan was committed to other films and the issue of dates kept cropping up. The film on Tarzan has been playing on Salman's mind for quite some time now and we should hit the floors sometime next year." ….read more
