Sajid Khan signs Kareena Kapoor for his next comedy

Heyy Babyy's success has only prompted filmmaker Sajid Khan to aim higher. Khan, who is presently working on a hush-hush script, is in talks with Kareena Kapoor for his next. Sources indicate that Sajid is extremely fond of Kareena and when he approached her with a rough draft she readily agreed. In circles where it really matters, the buzz is that Khan is trying to have bigger stars in his second offering. Khan along with his writers is writing the script, which is reportedly a comedy. Khan reveals that his next will have an ensemble cast with at least three leading ladies. However, he refuses to give out any names.

"I'm making a laugh riot again. Writing is underway, and the film is yet untitled," he says. When quizzed about signing Kareena he says, "Of course, I would like to work with her. I'm good friends with her and she gave one of the best performances this year, in Jab We Met."

The trade buzz is that Kareena now wants to dabble in comedies, and she has been looking out for good comedy scripts. Sajid Khan's film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and if all goes well this will be Kareena's second film with the Nadiadwala banner.
