Like all Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies, nothing much is known about his next much awaited ‘Saawariya’. The only known fact is that its a movie about three generations. The youngest generation is represented by the debutante star kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, the children of actors Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor respectively. Salman Khan and Rani Mukherji represent the middle generation and the senior generation is represented by the ever-so-cute granny of cinema, Zohra Sehgal and Begum Para.

Sources reveal that the movie may well be adapted from the classic short story ‘White Nights’, by the Russian author Fyodor Dostovesky. The story is about lonesome man, who becomes friends with a young girl, only to realise that he is falling in love with her. And just when he confesses his love, the girl’s estranged lover makes an appearance, leaving the man lonely again !
