The makers of Partner are also getting onto the sequel bandwagon. David Dhawan has already registered the title ‘Tom and Jerry’, for the sequel of the recently released Partner.
As per reports, David Dhawan is so enamored with the the Govinda – Salma pair, that he has announced that he will make one film every year with the hit paif of Govinda and Salman Khan.
Govinda, who is on a second lease in Bollywood, is also keen on working with his friends rather than trusting other film makers. Priyadarshan’s Bhaagam Bhaag didn’t do much to push up his nose-diving Bollywood career graph.
The sequel focuses on the love-hate relationship of guru Prem (Salman Khan) and his disciple Bhaskar (Govinda). And is based on the popular cartoon series Tom and Jerry.
The script is being worked upon and the film is expected to hit the floors by the end of this year.
