Om Shanti Om not a remake of Karz : Farah Khan

Director Farah Khan’s second movie Om Shanti Om has been rumoured to be a remake of the 80’s hit Karz. To refute these rumours the director has decided to cast Subhash Ghai and Rishi Kapoor in cameo roles for her movie. Subhash Ghai was the director and Rishi Kapoor was the lead actor of Karz.
Farah Khan also revealed that the movie is full of cameos by many Bollywood actors. Even her husband Shirish Kunder will be appearing in the title credits. The movie is about Bollywood and the director refused to reveal any further details of the storyline or the actors who will be seen in the cameos saying that revealing too much at this stage will make the movie less interesting when released !
The movie’s starcast includes Shahrukh Khan in the lead role as Om, newcomer Deepika Padukone, Shreyas Talpade and Malaika Arora
