Katrina’s skirt scene in Namastey London will be re-shot

Namastey London ran into trouble sometime back with a controversy regarding actress Katrina Kaif wearing a short skirt in the Dargah for the film’s shoot. It had angered the Dargah committee. Filmmaker Vipul Shah has decided to re-shoot the same scene with the actress wearing a longer skirt this time.
He said “It does involve a lot of expenses, but I do not want to take any risk with religious sentiments. I do not want any controversy surrounding my movie release like it happened with Parzania and Black Friday. I respect all religious communities and would not like to hurt their sentiments.”
The movie is set for a March release. The cast includes Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Upen Patel.
