Himesh Reshammiya apologises for burqa row

Another furore at Ajmer, at the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hassan Chishti ! Aftr Katrina’s skirt row, now its Himesh’s burqa row !
As reported earlier, Himesh had paid a visit to the shrine, to seek blessings before the release of his debut movie as actor – Aap Ka Surroor. To avoid being recognized, he had worn a burqa. Some devotees noticed and took it up with the authorities.
Himesh Reshammiya said he was sorry if people were “offended” by his dressing as a woman to enter the Ajmer shrine and has offered his apologies. Chief prayer attendant Sarwar Chisti said Reshammiya’s intentions had been honourable. “He changed his dress only to avoid the crowds. He wanted to pray in peace,” he said.
