BollywoodBobby Deol is a huge cricket fan and he has taken his passion rather seriously. Currently, shooting in Chandigarh for Sangeeth Sivan's untitled film, the actor gets busy with the willow after having finished shooting for the day. On the actor's insistence, a temporary cricket pitch with floodlights et al have been made on the sets. While shooting for his film Aapne last year, the actor had befriended a few locals. Now they indulge in animated cricket matches every evening. Bobby says, "My friend has a farmhouse where we play night cricket. It is like playing a day and night match. Last year, when I was shooting for Aapne, I made a lot of friends here. I feel at home here in Chandigarh. The people are warm and very friendly. They treat me as family."

Bobby, who is doing an action film after a long time, says, "I am doing an action film after a long time and have been doing the stunts as well. The action director, Hanes, is from the South and he is brilliant. There is no conscious effort to make a stylish action film where stars are jumping and flying around, but it has some great punches. I did a scene where I jumped off a high rise."

He further adds, "This film is being shot in a start-to-finish schedule. This is for the first time that I am going to be away from my kids and family for 47 days. It has barely been 10 days and I'm already missing my kids. Also, I am reading a few scripts and there are people coming from Bombay to meet me for story narrations. I am enjoying experimenting with different genres of films at this stage." ….read more
