Ash, Abhishek and the many link-ups

So, it's official now. Aishwarya Rai is the 'would be' Bachchan bahu and the "good girl" that Amitabh Bachchan had said he was looking for son Abhishek.
Aishwarya accompanied Abhishek and his family on a visit to the Sankat Mochan temple in Varanasi. Not just that, at the music launch of Guru, right in the presence of Big B, Ash had muttered: "I'm his (Abhishek, who plays Guru Kant Desai in the movie) wife, his conscience, his support…" Of course, she was explaining her role in the film, but the glare in her eyes showed that she actually meant it,

Everyone knows of Abhishek's broken engagement with now-married (and separated) Karisma Kapoor. Everything was going fine, and the Bachchans had even announced the date of marriage — one that never took off between Abhishek and Lolo. Karisma's close friends say her marriage with industrialist tycoon Sanjay Kapur was a hasty affair — a fact that became evident when rumours of her divorce floated within months of her marriage.
